Stepping Stone Mission relies on your financial generosity to be able to feed the hungry in our community.  Stepping Stone Mission of Franklin County is a 501(c) 3 faith-based organization so your donation is tax deductible. Donate time.

Stepping Stone Mission depends our volunteers who give of their time to serve our community. Over 100 volunteers help with food preparation and other tasks each year. Without the help of our volunteers, the soup kitchen would be unable to continue to serve individuals each and every day. 

If you would like to join our team of volunteers, please call the Mission directly for an in-person interview. Please note that volunteers must be 18 years of age.

Donate items.

Joanne’s Treasures is a thrift store whose sole purpose is financial support of the Stepping Stone Mission. It is in the lower level of the soup kitchen, at the rear of the building. We accept gently used and new household items (such as home decorations, dishes, cookware, kitchen utensils, small appliances, toys, crafts, jewelry, purses, furniture, lamps, sporting equipment)(excluding clothing and books). Items may be donated at Joanne’s Treasure on Friday and Saturday from 11am-3pm.

Donate food.

Food and other essential items – Canned and other "NON-PERISHABLES"(spices, flour, sugar, etc.) are always appreciated. Paper plates, paper towels, napkins, plastic gloves, plastic utensils, dish soap, hand soap, cleaning supplies, etc. are also used everyday and are in high demand.

If you will be making an in-person delivery, please either call or email to arrange a time to come by so we can make sure the door will be unlocked and we will be available to help.
