Donate time.

Stepping Stone Mission depends our volunteers who give of their time to serve our community. Over 100 volunteers help with food preparation and other tasks each year. Without the help of our volunteers, the soup kitchen would be unable to continue to serve individuals each and every day.

If you would like to join our team of volunteers, please call the Mission directly for an in-person interview. Please note that volunteers must be 18 years of age.

Donate items.

Joanne’s Treasures is a thrift store whose sole purpose is financial support of the Stepping Stone Mission. It is in the lower level of the soup kitchen, at the rear of the building. We accept gently used and new household items. We cannot accept clothing. Items may be donated at Joanne’s Treasure Friday and Saturday from 11am-3pm.

Donate food.

Food items are always appreciated. Hefty 3-section plates, plastic utensils, napkins, plastic gloves, dish soap, hand soap, cleaning supplies, etc. are also used every day and are in high demand. We are open and available 7 days a week between 8 AM and 1:30 PM.
